Tyson Lyn Scott, a lifelong resident of Crawfordville, Florida, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the young age of 34. Tyson is survived by his two children, son, Jacob H. Wilson, and daughter, Layla A. Scott. Sister Kodie L. Nix, brother-in-law, James R. Nix, niece, Kadence R. Nix, Nephew, Andrew P. Nix, Grandfather Andre Raymond, Great-Aunt and Uncle Linda Ostrowsky Williams & Gary Williams, Uncle and Aunt Andre Raymond II & Pam Raymond, along with several cousins. Tyson is preceded in death by his mother, Robyn L. Scott, stepfather, James B. Hawkins, father, Donnie Philips, and Grandmother Diann Raymond. Born in Panama City Beach, Florida, on July 27, 1989. Tyson had a passion for tinkering and rebuilding anything from electronic devices, cars, or small engines. Always thinking outside the box, he would create a way to make something work. He earned his Electrical license in 2022 from Tallahassee Community College. Tyson had an amazing sense of humor, with an infectious smile and laugh. He was a compassionate person always willing to help whenever possible. Tyson’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. A big kid at heart, he would spend hours hanging with his son Jacob, daughter Layla, and niece Kadence. Tyson was a simple man, who’s life ended all too soon. He will be remembered and missed by many. Our time together was more than too short, but the memories of growing up with you, getting in trouble with you, and our brother sister fights will remain some of best memories of my childhood. “We Hugged, We loved,” – Love your Big Sis!
