Mae C. Roberts

October 1, 1933 - May 28, 2020

Mae C. Roberts, 86, of Crawfordville, passed away May 28, 2020. She was born October 1, 1933 in Madison County, Florida to her parents Andrew J. & Lillie C. Crain. She lived her entire life in North Florida and the last 44 years in Crawfordville. Mae was married to Clarence W. "Sonny" Roberts for 41 years prior to his death in 2017 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother and Mae loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her whole heart. She was an active and valued member of River of Life Church, where she served as an usher and made everyone feel loved and welcomed, as she greeted them on Sunday mornings. Mae loved the outdoors, hunting and camping, which she and Sonny did often and enjoyed together. She was an outstanding cook and took great pleasure in serving up feasts for her family at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Her cakes, pies, jellies and Christmas candies were enjoyed by her family and her many friends and neighbors. Survivors include her children Sandra Parker Finnemyhr (Tore), Robert Parker (Cindy), Earl Parker (Lisa), Charles Parker (Janet), Andrew Roberts, Leon Roberts (Joan), Faith Neale (Jim) and Cheryll Olah. She was "Nonna" to 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and survived by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Sonny, 2 sisters Mildred Crain & Doretha Scott, 3 brothers Richard Crain, C.J. Crain & Harold Crain and 2 great granddaughters. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, 11:00 am at the River of Life Church in Crawfordville, Florida. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we will be following all guidelines including social distancing, so please be aware of this when you come. We ask that you keep all of us close in thought and prayer.
