Eric Randall "Randy" Baxley

Eric Randall “Randy” Baxley, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2020 at the age of 64. Randy was born June 20, 1955. Randy loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren teaching them to fish, plan travel adventures and taking them to church. Randy was an electrician by trade and retired from Florida State after 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed a good camp fire with friends to shoot the bull. He loved spending time at that sacred fishing hole with family and friends. He has a large network of friends from across the South that he loved dearly. Randy was preceded in Death by his father William T. “Dugan” Baxley of Milton Florida, Mother Joyce Lynette Schild Pack of Pascagoula, Mississippi and Brother Ronald E. Baxley of Tallahassee. He is survived by his Lifelong friend, travel partner and wife of 38 years Debra Baxley, his son, Eric R. Baxley Jr. and daughter Shanna R. Baxley, of Crawfordville, and 4 grandchildren, Joshua McNicholas (Aris Rogers) of Tallahassee, Angel McNicholas of Crawfordville, Allora Baxley of Perry, FL and James Smith of Crawfordville, FL. Brothers William David “Mole” (Dee) Baxley of Ochlocknee, Georgia. Steven Eugene (Janice) Baxley, Franklinton, Louisiana. Keith Dwayne (Sharen) Baxley, of Huntsville, Alabama, Sister Patricia Lynette Baxley of Tallahassee, many nieces, nephews and extended family and his beloved dogs Costa, Audrey and Lucy. The family will receive friends during the visitation Friday, January 31, 2020, 5:00-7:00 pm Harvey Young Chapel at Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 1, 2020, 11:00 am Harvey Young Chapel at Family Funeral Home 3106 Crawfordville Hwy. Crawfordville, Florida.
