Dorothy Marie Vatter

December 4, 1942 - June 21, 2020

Dorothy Marie Vatter, 77, of Crawfordville, passed away on June 21, 2020 at her home with her loving family. She moved to Crawfordville from Miami in 2005 after selling her Tropical Fish Business Atlantic Marine Life, where she was Owner/Operator. Dorothy was a member of Lake Ellen Baptist Church, a member of the South Dade Amateur Orchid Society, a Mary Kay Representative, Sunday School teacher, volunteer at the Alzheimer's Day Care at Lake Ellen Baptist and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include her husband of 59 years David Lee Vatter, children Susan Vatter Moninger and husband Daniel, John Robert Vatter and wife Valerie, Tami Lynn Vatter Perry and husband Robbie & Mary Catherine Vatter, sister Kathy Cordell Vargas, 7 grandchildren Jason Daniel Moninger, Rebekah Sue Moninger Gaudet, Travis Wayne Vatter, Tara Lyn Vatter Reynolds, Randall Lee Perry, Victoria Lynn Perry & Hayden Austin Haney and 7 great grandchildren Kassidy Grace Moninger, Cooper Douglas Moninger, Dylan Ray Gaudet, Lucas Daniel Gaudet, Kylie Lynn Walker, Maci Layne Reynolds & Cody Ronald Walker. Family will receive friends Friday, June 26, 2020, 12:00-1:00 pm at Lake Ellen Baptist Church and the Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at church cemetery.
